OUR MISSION

Wild Cornwall is a pioneering NATURAL FOOD brand that has garnered acclaim for its commitment to FORAGED and HERITAGE ingredients – 100% NATURAL! We want to reconnect the broken relationship between consumers and real food one jar at a time.

The poisoned, ultra-processed food supply chain of the past 50 years has shown us that when we disrupt any part of the natural process, from soil to table, the health repercussions are significant; from being overweight to obesity, type 2 diabetes, kidney and liver diseases and increased cardiovascular issues.

Addressing these issues is crucial for both consumer well-being and the overall health of the nation, and our reconnection with nature via NATURAL REAL foods.

THE WILD FARM

Wild Cornwall HQ is on a farm estate with a wealth of history. Trelonk, on the beautiful Roseland Peninsula is an historical brickworks on the edge of the Fal estuary active between 1891 and 1907. Today, all that is left is the tall chimney once used to draw air through the kilns to keep the temperature rising, and the silt in the ground.

Despite the Estate being farmed for years, Trelonk has diversified its cropping and its approach, utilising scientific breakthroughs in horticulture and regenerative agricultural practices over the past 5 years.

Many of the recipes begin with ingredients found in and around the farm. Extra and unused space on the farm was used to grow different herbs, crops and produce, such as rosemary, apples, chestnuts and elderflower.

How it all started

The Wild Cornwall brand began as a range of gift boxes which showcased the small scale crops being cultivated in Trelonk’s fields, polytunnels and market garden, and combined them with the seasonal bounty of the hedgerows.

The synergy between the wild and the propagated was what inspired us to create a range with an edge; taking traditional Cornish ingredients to places they might not have been to before.

One of our flagship products was the Rambler’s Sweet Chilli Sauce which used spicy Cornish meadow weeds for a chilli kick and combines them with our calendula, a fragrant, sunny flower we cultivated for its impressive antioxidant, antifungal benefits.

Where we're going

Whilst our customers loved our unique flavour combinations and our dedication to foraging in our beautiful, Cornish environment, we found that more and more of you were telling us that you needed something better.

Why is there so much refined sugar in table sauces and preserves? Why can't I get products of this quality but with healthier oils?

So we went away and had a rethink.

Now, with our smart, new brand and product range, we can answer those questions and fulfill our mission to reconnect consumers to nature AND address wellbeing concerns at the same time.
